The CITI course in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) provides a comprehensive basic course in RCR for faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral associates and fellows, research staff and administrators.

You will need an MIT personal certificate to log into the CITI website.

Once you have a certificate you may log into the CITI website to complete your RCR training. All completion reports will be transmitted to to MIT's training record module within SAP.

Once you complete the training, no further action is needed.

Revisit the Training Material

If you need to access the training materials again after you’ve completed the training,
please follow the instructions below.

How to access the RCR training course materials again after completion:

  1. Click here to go to the CITI Main Menu page
  2. Locate the section below the My Courses section entitled Massachusetts Institute of Technology Learner Utilities.
  3. Click on the Optional Modules link. This will bring you to a page where you can re-enter any of the modules you have completed.
