The CITI course in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) provides a comprehensive basic course in RCR for faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral associates and fellows, research staff and administrators.
Note: As of February 2018, there were changes to the Chrome browser that may affect any site you use that requires an MIT certificate. If you experience this, please try using another browser.
You will need an MIT personal certificate to log into the CITI website.
Once you have a certificate you may log into the CITI website to complete your RCR training. All completion reports will be transmitted to to MIT's training record module within SAP.
Once you complete the training, no further action is needed.

If you need to access the training materials again after you’ve completed the training, please follow the instructions below.
How to access the RCR training course materials again after completion:
- Click here to go to the CITI Main Menu page
- Locate the section below the My Courses section entitled Massachusetts Institute Courses.
- Click on “View Previously Completed Coursework.”
